This was posted on page 4 of the amplifier thread, but I figured that a lot of people would miss the results if they weren't in their own thread.
We are not releasing pricing or an ETA at this moment.Testing done on our test bench yesterday -- the standard hook-up is 1/0 wire from our battery bank to some reducers for 8 awg into the amp (few inches long). Makes testing amps faster so we don't have to fight with the wires. We used the 1/0 directly on some of the final testing. Not enough time in the day to do it both ways on all amps but we are very happy so far. We'll do some in-vehicle testing soon with more electrical backing to really show what they can do. All tests done with my Extech power clamp meter : 380976 - Single Phase/Three Phase 1000A AC Power Clamp Meter We did not spend a ton of time shooting for the best figures -- we just sat down and tested each one back to back to get an idea of how the prototypes turned out. I am going to upgrade the power supply FETs for production as well for reference so expect them to be even a bit stronger. OA-1 TESTING : Rated 1200 @ 1 ohm / 600 @ 2 ohms / 300 @ 4 ohms 60 Hz @ 1 ohm --> 840 watts @ 13.8v @ 3.27 ohms actual (reducer) 50 Hz @ 1 ohm --> 1280 watts @ 13.5v @ 2.14 ohms actual (reducer) 45 Hz @ 1 ohm --> 1440 watts @ 13.3v @ 1.91 ohms actual (reducer) 50 Hz @ 0.5 ohm --> 1960 watts @ 12.65v @ 1.38 ohms actual (reducer) 45 Hz @ 0.5 ohm --> 2130 watts @ 12.2v @ 1.17 ohms actual (reducer) OA-2 TESTING : Rated 1800 @ 1 ohm / 900 @ 2 ohms / 450 @ 4 ohms 45 Hz @ 1 ohm --> 2340 watts @ 12.8v @ 1.98 ohms actual (1/0 wire) 45 Hz @ 0.5 ohm --> 2610 watts @ 11.9v @ 1.3 ohms actual (reducer) 40 Hz @ 0.5 ohm --> 2640 watts @ 11.7v @ 1.16 ohms actual (reducer) OA-3 TESTING : Rated 2400 @ 1 ohm / 1200 @ 2 ohms / 600 @ 4 ohms 45 Hz @ 1 ohm --> 2860 watts @ 12.35v @ 2.01 ohms actual (1/0 wire) 45 Hz @ 0.5 ohm --> 2960 watts @ 11.15v @ 1.31 ohms actual (reducer) 45 Hz @ 0.5 ohm --> 3250 watts @ 11.5v @ 1.28 ohms actual (1/0 wire) __________________

Pics of all of the prototypes.
Production will have our logo in the correct color instead of silver as pictured. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Derrick's Explorer @ 0.33 nominal
OA-1 : 2230 watts @ 14.2v / 1.11 ohms OA-2 : 2740 watts @ 14.2v / 1.13 ohms OA-3 : 3810 watts @ 13.1v / 0.85 ohms (different frequency) 3680 watts @ 13.6v / 1.09 ohms OA-3 gained the most -- moral of the story the OA amps produce about the same power with real world voltage drop due to being optimized for 12v operation. |

these numbers are nuts...why dont the ratings on the amp go up??...honestly, i LOVE it but i feel like people that arent aware will look at the ratings and give their alredy overpowered subs the power, and destroy them
